Pushing for inclusion for young people facing barriers to employment

Independence, self-direction and employment

PUSH (Perth and Kinross) Ltd. is a dedicated local charity and voluntary organization committed to fostering community inclusion for individuals with learning disabilities and additional support needs. Our charity operates a reuse shop and warehouse that not only provides vital employability training and job opportunities for young people facing employment barriers but also serves a diverse community. Our social enterprise supports low-income families, minority ethnic residents, individuals on welfare, those involved in the reuse sector, and anyone striving to contribute to a more sustainable, circular economy.

Small Beginnings...

Founded in 1989 as a parent-led organization in a family’s lounge to support individuals with learning disabilities, PUSH has evolved into a leading advocate for young people facing employment barriers. PUSH’s core mission is to promote inclusion for those with learning disabilities or additional support needs. Employment is a crucial component of this mission, as it fosters financial independence, which in turn paves the way for better housing opportunities and broader social inclusion.
