COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Community engagement in charity reuse motivates residents to donate, repurpose, and recycle items for charitable causes. Seeing the positive impact on young people facing employment barriers, locals contribute to sustainability and build community connections. Our initiatives reduce waste, extend the life of goods, and promote environmental stewardship, empowering residents to support those in need.
CONTAINER DONATIONS
132 tonnes of materials have been diverted from landfill this year, an increase more than 35% on last year.
We have a strong commitment to the expansion of our services, ideally in conjunction with other community and statutory organisations whose vision and strategic aims are fully compatible with our own. Partnership working is a fundamental part of our strategy.
Our iWork programme will be developed in consultation with the trainees enrolled in the programme, their voice is crucial to our development.
